Bremhill Book Award & Talk

We are pleased to announce that Bremhill Parish Through the Ages, published in December 2021 by the Bremhill Parish History Group (BPHG) in collaboration with Wiltshire VCH, has jointly won the Alan Ball Local History Book of the year 2021. The award of this prestigious prize is recognition of the contributions of dozens of people alongside VCH contributing editor Louise Ryland-Epton. The book was edited by VCH consultant editor John Chandler and former Penguin editor Eleo Carson and designed and produced by John Harris from the BPHG.

Louise and Martin Nye, chair of the Wiltshire Museum and one of the Bremhill Parish History Group coordinators, will be talking about this community history project and share some of the stories uncovered at an online talk on 14 March.
