Harris Magazine Digitisation Fundraiser

The C&T Harris (Calne) Ltd. magazines are a unique collection of magazines about from the firm between January 1927 and June 1940. It is the only complete collection which still survives. These magazines are a vital resource and provide a valuable insight into a company which produced over 100 tonnes of meats sausages and pies at its most successful, employing over 2,000 people. The magazines include social activity reports, photographs, details on employees’ weddings and adverts.

The collection has been gradually degrading over the years and the trustees would like to digitise the collection to continue providing valuable insight.
